The hotel is in a great location 1/2 block from the ocean. Many bars and restaurants surround the hotel. I will stay there again if I have the opportunity.

The only issue I came across was a cold shower. The water never got hot. I also had an issue with the toilet flushing properly, so maybe someone should look into the plumbing. Aside from that the bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and the ambiance was very nice.

Rm.310 Chesterfield Hotel/Suites 4-12 to 4-15,2018

Pros: The shuttle bus to the airport was on time and that the driver was very pleasant. Drinks from 7 to 8 pm were okay. Our room was very quiet.
Cons: UPDATE FURNITURE, LIGHTING FIXTURES, GET RID OF STATUE WITH ERECTION. HOTEL NEEDS TO DEMONSTRATE CLIENTS COMFORT. Keep clean & get rid of bedbugs.
Location: I am used to the area since in-laws live right on 5th and Ocean Drive.
Shower water was tepid everyday meaning not hot or warm and the shower floor was very slippery due to the shower floor being made of marble. Our last night's stay bed was made but one could see that wash clothes were not provided and the ice bucket was not cleaned out. Bed platforms were way to big for the room that we kept banging into them. Down in the lobby there was a 7 foot statue of a black man with a huge penis erection displayed by the reservation desk. Cable channels were limited to about 15 channels which was disappointing . Room needed a paint job and furniture needed to be updated. Lighting in the room was poorly lit. Ran into a customer who was also staying at the Chesterfield who had bedbugs in his room. Customer had proof of the bedbug in a water bottle that he captured. Customer's head was red and swollen from bedbug bites showing welts across his forehead. Lastly, my check out receipt had two different credit card numbers on it. Mine and another person's credit card number which I informed them at the reservation desk and they could not explain it.

ehh convenient.

the hotel linens were all stained. the towels were stained. the ladder to the bunk bed was cracked. the toilet stopped flushing everyday had to call the front desk A LOT. the front desk barely answers so be prepared to walk. but nelson is the best employee so if you need anything ask him and he will willingly fix the issue quick.

It was ehhhhhh

Customer service is not their number one priority......it's a lot going in the tight space of what they call "the front desk".....the staff need to be a bit more attentive to the guest that they're dealing with at the time(I was being processed for check in but the young lady would stop my check in process to start on other guest;more than 2) overall the hotel was a comfortable clean.....small but clean.....I would only stay here again if I had to
