The hotel is older, but very clean and the staff were very nice. Breakfast buffet was good. I proposed to my girlfriend the first night there-- in our room! The Savoy will always be special to us!

The rooms are smaller, but clean and comfortable. The staff were always very polite and attentive. We had the breakfast buffet daily, and the food was excellent. The hotel is very close (and convenient) to the airport. We would definitely stay there again.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay due to Philippine airline cancelling my flights twice which delayed my arrival for 34hrs. I will never fly PAL again. However this review is about Savoy. The hotel accimodated my fiancee and her daughter to stay for 2 days. I give 5 stars to service, staff hospitality, friendliness, cleanliness, location and food. Only negative comment from my fiancee was there was a sewage smell in the room and the general communal areas in the hotel. The smell is not over powering and not a deal breaker, obviously everybody expects a good-smelling hotel. We have stayed in this hotel a few times in the last 2 years. This is the first time there was a smell problem. Overall, we this stay a 4 star rating.

It is a good hotel in terms of location really close to the airport. It is good for layover stays in Manila. Staff is so friendly and hospitable. The room is ok the bathroom is kinda small and they can do better in terms of cleanliness in the room.
