Staff is amazing and exceptional! The location is perfect! Hotel 101 is close to the airport and nestled between two shopping centers. Mall of Asia and Golden Dragon. Great place to stay if you enjoy walking and running! The waterfront area behind Mall of Asia has jogging trails and bike lanes,

There were a variety of issues with our stay at Hotel 101 that made this experience one of the worst ever. The front line staff is very good, however Hotel 101 is one of the most poorly managed and maintained properties I've ever seen.

It's an older hotel, but the rooms are spotless, the staff is always ready to help, very attentive. I have been staying there when I'm in town for a few years. And I have never regretted it. Mall of Asia is within walking distance, there are plenty of restaurants and a 7-11 right around the corner. I recommend it.

Staff was courteous, amenities could be better and cleaner. The building is old and smelled bad that they have to install an odorizer in the hallway at night. Location and price wise, it was convenient and affordable. I would stay there again.

Casa Familya is a beautiful and welcoming place to stay. From the moment we arrived, the owner and staff made us feel comfortable. They are very kind, friendly, and accommodating. You can truly feel their hospitality and care for their guests. The property has plenty of rooms to choose from, making it easy to accommodate families and larger groups. The rooms are clean and cozy, with comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, hot water, and air conditioning. Everything we needed for a relaxing stay was provided. The place has a charming vintage feel, but it’s still very comfortable and well maintained. I also appreciated that the place is handicapped-friendly, which makes it more accessible and thoughtful for guests with mobility needs. One of the best things about Casa Familya is its location. It’s conveniently near a Catholic church and a plaza where you can enjoy local favorites like Ilocano empanada, lomi, street foods, bubble tea, and more. Everything is within easy reach, which made our stay even more enjoyable. My family and I truly enjoyed our time here. It felt warm, homey, and relaxing. Exactly what we needed. We highly recommend Casa Familya to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Batac, Ilocos Norte. We would definitely love to come back again.

We first stayed at Hotel 101 near Mall of Asia in 2018 with my children, and it left a lasting impression on us. My kids still talked about how much they loved the nice rooms, the fun pool, and the convenience of being within walking distance to MOA. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the building was well kept, and security made us feel safe. It was a place we truly looked forward to returning to. I came back a week ago due to a family emergency in the Philippines. I chose this hotel again because of our fond memories. Sadly, this stay was very different. While the staff and security remain kind, friendly, and quick to respond, the condition of the building and rooms has declined. Our first room had peeling wallpaper, cracked bathroom flooring, stains, and a clogged sink. Since it was late at night, the front desk arranged for us to transfer rooms the next day. The second room had a better view, but the sink drained slowly and the toilet did not flush properly. We later learned the building is undergoing renovations, which I understand, but guests should still be placed in better-maintained rooms to avoid discomfort. I also noticed the shared restroom on the ground floor had water on the floor, which did not feel sanitary. The hotel remains busy with many Filipino and foreign guests, so I hope maintenance soon matches the great service the staff continues to provide. This stay wasn’t the experience we remembered.

Hotel was clean and nice, breakfast was delicious. Staff was helpful and polite! It was our honeymoon and they made us a very cute towel set of towels folded into swans and a slice of chocolate cake.

Had a good stay at Hotel 101. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Horizon’s Restaurant was located in the lobby, can easily order food anytime. Rooms, beds and all amenties were basic. I booked this hotel for it’s proximity to SMDC office. Walkable to MOA. Over all, it’s worth the price and would consider to stay again.

They refused to check me in early after a long travel. And yes, they have rooms available from what I heard from other staff. They only agreed to accommodate me after a few hours of waiting and I had to guarantee I will leave at 6pm same day (total of 8 hours stay). They could have asked me to pay extra for checking in early. I understand the check in policy is at 2-3pm but I am being asked for my review. If this hotel went above and beyond, I would rate them high. But they did not so I rate them 2 for no compassion and consideration, and having old room/bathroom/supplies.
