Great views of Los Cabos

Pros: Great views on water’s edge. Rooms have nice terraces with a swing loveseat to enjoy early mornings and afternoon sunsets.
Cons: Rooms need to be evaluated for refurbishing of tired flooring and furnishings..
The hotel is a small modern hotel right on the water’s edge. Our room was clean but worn. Pools are relatively small. Restaurants are limited. The Ledge offered a respectable breakfast buffet and a la carte ordering. Hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating.

It just gets better and better

This was our fifth visit to the Cape. The beach, pool, rooms and staff were all exceptional. It is such a fun, relaxing, exciting place to be. The staff is attentive and friendly. And the live music in the evening was exceptional. The rooms are upscale and soothing. And the sound of crashing waves permeates every nook and cranny of the hotel property. Heaven!!

Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff

Pros: The staff was very attentive and took care of every need
Cons: N/A
I highly recommend The Cape for your stay in Cabo! Everything is 5 star...the accomodations, the staff and views of the ocean and the arch.

Excellent property with amazing service!

Pros: Service, design and location. I liked that is was not right in the crush of Cabo but still close enough to get there if you wanted to explore.
Cons: The only small thing I missed was the opportunity to go for a walk on the ocean.
Location: The huge pleasant surprise was the plethora of great restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel was also amazing.
We stayed at this property without doing much research and really lucked out. It is a relatively new property that is incredibly well done. It a classic boutique hotel, amazing design, expectational service, and wonderful views of the ocean. The rooms are beautifully designed with a lovely swing on the porch which was nap worthy!

Gorgeous Hotel!

Pros: Design, staff, pool, view, room, frozen cape drink.
Cons: Food. We were told that we had to try Manta, but we didn't think it was all that special. We didn't care for the other food as well.
Location: Near Mondano Beach where you catch a boat ride to the Arch. There are shops, restaurants, marina, golf. We played golf at Casa del Sol Beach course
I knew this hotel was going to be pretty awesome but I was blown away by it. The hotel was well designed with a modern, mid century feel. The staff was top notch, the standard king suite was an amazing room with a great view of the Arch and sweet beach, the pool was an incredible infinity pool with a swim up bar. We really enjoyed our stay here, and even though I don't care to visit a place twice, this may be an exception. Loved it!

Beautiful location/hotel, service below par

Pros: Location, facilities
Cons: Overall hotel service and the concierge
Location: On the beach, very pretty.
Overall the hotel was in a great location. However, the concierge service was incredibly disappointing. I asked for dinner reservations to be set up for every night I was there and they managed mess up almost every single one. Firstly, they made dinner reservations under different names Alice Wong and Tina Wong - neither of the first names are close to my name. Additionally, they promised to make a dinner reservation at one restaurant at the Pedergal called El Farallon to only make a dinner reservation at a different restaurant all together, which they never informed us of and had to find out upon arriving at the other hotel - had we known we would not have spend the money for the taxis back and forth to go there. Also they set up a dinner reservation at The Office at 8:30pm for us, I asked could we go into town a bit early and do some shopping? The conceirge told me, yes and there were a lot of shops nearby. I got to the restaurant an hour ahead of time only to find out, no shops! I set up a reservation for yoga classes which I was told started at 9am only to find out the night before they started at 10am, once again had I not called and talked to the concierge I would not have known. I also asked the concierge what the total cost of a taxi going from the hotel to the airport was going to be and they quoted me a price that was $40 under the price that it actually costed. The terrible concierge service really deters me from going back there.

Amazing!

This hotel was amazing! I am very picky about hotels and most hotels that state 5 star, I would give a 3.5-4 star. However, The Cape is the true definition of a 5 star hotel. From Emilio greeting you upon your arrival by name to the friendliest staff throughout the hotel, they all exuded customer service. It was our anniversary and they had a bottle of tequila in our room when we arrived and on the day of our anniversary everyone knew it was our anniversary throughout the hotel. That evening after we returned to the hotel, room service came to our room with a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries...just in time for the beautiful sunset. The room was spectacular! We had the panoramic room and we didn't close the curtains throughout our stay. The views were breathtaking! You can see the views from the shower, the bed, the jacuzzi and balcony! The rooftop restaurant was so romantic and had live music. They also have a restaurant on the lower level with an outside patio overlooking the ocean. The breakfast was delicious! The French toast is a must try. I am a really hard critic on hotels but I truly commend the manager for running such a tight ship. It was clean from head to toe. Everyone was very professional and most of them greeted us by name. The rooms were beautifully designed. Everything screamed 5 star resort. My only negative was that to get into town it's $20 each way. But this is at no fault of the hotel! That's how Cabo is throughout.
