Stayed for 1 night after a gig, room was clean, bed was comfy and the air con was super appreciated. I wouldn't stay for a very long time but it was great for our purposes.

The guy who checked us in was super friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The double room was small, but we knew that before booking, but could have been cleaner, especially in the bathroom. Air con was a big plus, and although it had a kettle, no milk was left to make a make a breakfast cuppa. Overall value was ok, but could be easily so much better, especially above a great pub.

The accommodation is a highlight—the rooms feel authentically period with high ceilings and traditional features, yet they have been thoughtfully updated with a modern finish. The beds are exceptionally comfy, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the large showers add a touch of luxury that you don't always find in pub-based guest rooms. At its price point, the pub offers really good value for money, especially considering the quality of the decor and the convenience of having a great dining room and bar just downstairs. It’s a welcoming, high-quality spot that I would definitely stay at again. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Lovely pub. Nice friendly staff and locals, great choice of drinks and good food. I stayed for 3 nights making a weekend out of our (Wrexham's) away match at QPR and ate here twice. The rooms are very nice too with tea/coffee facilities. An interesting quirk - everything in my room was left-handed, the taps, switches, door, everything..

Rooms were nice. Generally clean, few areas needed improvement but didn’t affect our stay. Slept well, beds comfy and nice quality linen. Quieter than I was expecting as we are above a pub, no noise at all. Good range of toiletries, tv and fridge which was a bonus. Would stay again.
