Ruby Zoe is a nice place, but they could be great with a few changes. They don't give you facial towels. The smallest towel you can bathe with is a 16x30-inch hand towel. One of the elevators was out of order each day. They really make it clear they don't want guests to get housekeeping service. They offer a drink to waive your right to have your room cleaned when you check in. EVERY time you ask for housekeeping they pull up your check-in record to verify if you took the drink.
Aside from those annoyances, the place is actually nice. The rooms are small, but very efficient in space. They have floor-to-ceiling windows. The shower has an overhead and handheld heads.
The rooms have amplifiers - like they're expecting you to connect your instruments to them. I guess they're trying to market to guitarists 🎸
But the best thing Ruby Zoe has going is its location. It's near the Notting Hill Gate tube station, and there are stores, restaurants and bars in walking distance. Holland Park Avenue is a great location for Notting Hill.
