Whether you're religious or just an inquisitive mind, you’ll enjoy a trip to La Altagracia Cathedral.
We're sure you won't need much convincing to go see it in Punta Cana, as it's a great city to see in its own right.
Be prepared to do some traveling to reach your accommodation after an event-filled day. Given its remote location, there is nowhere to stay within close reach. The Xeliter Caleton Villas, the Eden Roc at Cap Cana and the Tortuga Bay Hotel are among the most convenient places, situated 20 miles (32 kilometers), 20 miles (32 kilometers) and 25 miles (40 kilometers) away, respectively.
Located close by, morzart is a superb place to enjoy a coffee and a quick bite. If it's a bigger meal that you want, try Aqui Me Quedo (Chuky Frito), a nearby eatery that's popular with locals and wanderers alike. Don't forget that you're on a break. You're entitled to indulge in a couple of drinks before heading back to the hotel, and Go Drink is just another short walk away.
