Caribou lodge & spa was clean & well taken care of. The staff were friendly & professional. The Keg restaraunt, however, was a huge disappointment. They didn't have the prime rib so I ordered filet mignon medium rare with bernaise sauce. The meat was medium well. The bernaise sauce was tasteless & watery. I expected more from a keg restaurant.

Friendly staff and good room. Location 15 minutes walk from downtown centre. Free parking. Good WiFi. Spa a bit basic but ok. Restaurant average but variety of breakfasts at reasonable prices. Overall good value for money.

We enjoyed all the products provided by the Banff Mountain Soap Company. We loved having the heated parkade and the Keg located in the hotel.

The agent checking us in was terrible. Had no patience for my mother who had a massive stroke and was taking her time upon check in. We even told him she was ‘slower’ from her stroke but there was no care. The first room we had was covered in hair. Including the beds and pillows. The pool was closed for ‘maintenance’ specifically from check in to check out, kind of odd when the guy checking us in said ‘it’s common here’ We did go down the road to the Fox hotel and used their pool. I wish we had of spent the $80 extra to stay there

First time taking the family to the mountains. It was amazing weather and views. Hotel is right on the strip which made it easy to find dinner and shopping. Hotel is a little outdated but had all the comforts we needed. Slight issue getting into the hot pool area but this didn’t affect our overall stay. Loved the Rocky Mountain Soap products!

Great property perfect for a weeks skiing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Ski shuttles from right outside and ski storage onsite. Largest hot tub ever..! Perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. Room smallish but clean and tidy. Don’t miss happy hour at the bar..!

The property has a good restaurant and hot pool. The spa was adequate, although the temperature inside treatment rooms was quite cold. It was not possible to effectively manage the temperature of our room. Wi-Fi service was completely inadequate. Internet service went on and off every few minutes, making it not possible to stay in this facility if reliable internet access is a requirement. We reported problems with Wi-Fi access 4 times during our stay. Nothing was done to correct the situation. The facility has cable TV, which is a very antiquated way to deliver that kind of entertainment. There were piles of dirty linens and trash in our hallway everyday while cleaning was conducted. Additionally, we stayed on the third floor and were subject to frequent smoke in the hallway from the fireplace on the lobby floor. Parking was available, but only for smaller vehicles. As such, we had to search for street parking around the facility. Bus transport to ski resorts was available at the doorstep which is quite convenient, and the hotel is within a 10 minute walk to downtown shops and restaurants.

Great hotel. Rooms could be updated but we slept well. Hotel is close to everything. Its the 2nd stop from every ski resort so youre the Shuttle fast. The local shuttle stops right in front of hotel. The restaurant in hotel is good.i would return here.

Lots of information provided at reception for those going to ski/snowbaord! Nice hot pool, sauna and spa. My only downside with the hotel is that the rooms are very cold and the maintenance say they can’t adjust the temperature on the thermostat. They ended up giving us two small heaters (one in the room and one in the bathroom - separate breakers). It was a bit better but still not great.
