"I would highly recommend this hotel. While the decor is dated and like taking a step back in time the facility was immaculately clean. I personally loved feeling like stepping back to a simpler time where there are actual books on the nightstands! My room was beautiful complete with kitchenette and sitting area. The bedroom was very spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. There is so much charm in every aspect of your experience at the Royal Scot. The location is excellent for walking around the city and tucked away off the main street. The staff are impeccable. I will absolutely be staying here again on my next visit."

"The hotel is historic so the rooms and decor are appropriately old-fashioned, but we were comfortable. We recommend the king size rooms as they were considerably more spacious (we stayed in both a queen and a king during our stay.) But what really stood out was the above and beyond customer service. The manager & team really went out of their way to accommodate our own scheduling issue and make the transition as smooth as possible - and it was incredibly smooth. Thank you for the care and attention and for making a complicated weekend very easy! As a side note, we also enjoyed some delicious fish and chips at the hotel pub."
