We had a rollaway bed brought in, we called down for a blanket, they had none. The tv didn’t work and they had no one on sight to fix it. We needed the tv to drown out the traffic noise. Would not stay there again. They should have given something off but all they said was we’re sorry about that.

My husband and I stayed at La Quinta Indy South for Indiana Comic Con. I read great reviews, and now I’m glad to be giving one! 👏👍 The staff was very courteous and helpful. Things were a little chaotic because there was a conference happening at the hotel at the same Time, but there was no inconvenience for us. There were plenty of options for food nearby, and even better, there was a Huntington Bank down the street so we could get cash for the convention without paying ATM fees. My one grievance with the hotel was the elevator; there was only one, and it was very slow and outdated. Repairs and maybe installing a second one would probably go a long way, especially for a busy weekend like this one. If we’re ever back in Indy, we’ll certainly keep La Quinta Indy South in mind. Thanks so much!

We were only at the hotel for 14.5 hours. We were mainly looking for a great place to spend the night. We felt we did get that for the amount of time we were there. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and served us well. The only negative things we feel need some attention is the bathroom (floor was very worn and needs updated, esp. around the tub, shower curtain was old and dirty, bathtub needs updating) Furnace was not working correctly, fan would not start or stop on its own. Everything else, met our expectations.

The hotel was ok. For a non smoking hotel, my room definitely smelled like smoke, which was disappointing. Overall, comfort was fine and the breakfast selections were great.

We arrived around 7pm & it was dark out. Checked into our room where it was completely dark when we entered. We couldn't find the lights to turn on to see when we entered. That gave us a feel of "we weren't expecting your arrival" when we booked the room almost 2 weeks out. Amenities included a hair dryer. We could not find one so we called the front desk. They said it was attached to the wall. We could not locate one & asked for one to be sent to our room. They didn't have any & said it was in the room. Called down a 3rd time & they gave us a room key to access a hair dryer across the hall. How inconvenient. Did I mention the room was a handicap room that needs to be remodeled? I challenge your employees to read "Fred Factor" as it's much needed in this hotel. In addition, the rain had turned into a blizzard Sunday morning. Guests cars were covered with ice & snow. Most of the guests were families of bowlers who were attending the High School State Finals. The employee of the hotel was parked under the entrance so it was harder for the guests to warm up their vehicles & move in under it to be loaded at the front to leave. I certainly thought that was just rude.

Very easy to get to from Interstate. Property and room was clean. Looked like some refurbishing has been done - however the bathroom was not well. Gaps in the sheet rock/wall at the baseboards. In a bathroom that's not ideal. Paint job on walls was not finished around the bathroom door. Location is right next to highway so there is major traffic noise - I was exhausted from a 10 hour drive so I didn't care so much this time. Staff was friendly and check in was quick and easy. Buffet breakfast is also available.
