"Best Trip Ever!"
One of the reasons we love this hotel is because we are always treated like family. Thank you to Mike Nakada, Roland, Evelyn Alanda and Lawrence. They were all very helpful and attentive. The reason we return. Chuck and the beach services staff are friendly and accommodating on the best beach on Waikiki. It is so relaxing just to sit and enjoy the view. The tower view of the ocean and Diamond Head is amazing. The sunset is beautiful. We love the historic section of this hotel, but the tower is a fun change of pace. We absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone considering a trip to Oahu. It is peaceful and the surrounding gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Mahalo to our Hawaiian family.

"Good location, friendly staffs, helpful concierge"
Location is great with Waikiki within walking distance. Hotel staffs (front desk, concierge service) were extremely helpful. Check-in process was quick. Resort fees apply for internet, beach towel, and amenities. Did not utilize the amenities on-site but they seem to be in fair shape. Internet setup was in poor condition. Ocean view room (especially at higher floor) is worth the money with the balcony.

"A block from the beach."
While this hotel was not on the beach (only maybe 6 hotels are actually right on the beach), it was less than a block away. less than a 3 minute walk and you are there. My main complaint was the wifi at the hotel. The internet was way too slow and also public as well. That basically means any passerby could piggyback on the hotels free wifi, essentially reducing the available internet to paying patrons. My 4G on my phone ended up working faster than the hotel wifi. The staff was very courteous and kind and helped with any questions or concerns that arose during my visit. They offered good recommendations with places to dine, whether it was touristy or not. The facilities were mainly up to date mostly. The alarm clocks showed their age but not really being up to date with current bluetooth technology. Everything else was great. The TV was a flatscreen (granted I didn't turn it on once), bed was always made by the time I got back at night, but only complaint was the shower glass. For someone coming in for the first time, it was covered in limescale (waterspots that weren't wiped away between guest visits). Other than that, definitely a 4 out of 5.

"Very relaxing"
Great Hotel, recommend getting beach view, worth the money. Everything you need is at the hotel, shopping stores all on lower level, everything in Hi is really pricey, so make sure you have extra cash available or a credit card. Parking garage is across the street from hotel, they charge 30 dollars a day for parking. Rent from the airport if you need a vehicle, you can rent at the hotel but it's pricey and you might have to make reservations to get one. You can take the public bus from the airport for a few bucks, it's about a 30 min bus drive or a cab which is a 10 min drive for 45 bucks and a shuttle for 16 bucks per person. No real down falls besides traffic if your trying to travel to other side of Island, avoid rush hour like you would in every city.

"An Overnight Stay"
After taking the red-eye flight from Sydney and arriving in Honolulu by 11:30 am, we were more than delighted to call on the courtesy phone and learn the transportation was on its way to pick the five of us and our 10 bags up. In addition, the 3 rooms were immediately available and we did not have to wait until 3 pm to check in.
