Although the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly, the area itself was terrible. The lack of parking wasn’t disclosed nor was the cost to park in a garage off site. While we appreciated the pet-friendly policy, there’s no where close by to take them to relieve themselves.
We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the hospital that I was due to have surgery the following day. Upon arrival, we could not find a place to park. As we circled the building, I called the front desk and was informed then, that there wasn’t onsite parking. That we would have to park in a garage 2 blocks away. I’m disabled and cannot walk very far, particularly with luggage. We were advised that we could double park to check in, my husband could help us (my dog & I) to our room and then he could park at the garage.
When we checked in, we were informed that parking cost $20 for 3 days. We continued to have issues with the parking due to having to come & go for surgery. The logistics was horrible. There’s an apartment bldg on the other side of the street where people are moving in. Everyone is double parked, it’s congested and difficult to maneuver.
We definitely would not have stayed had this been disclosed beforehand. When we arrived home, we discovered that someone rubbed our bumper in the parking garage. I called the hotel and were told we have to contact the garage owner. I received our final invoice where we were charged $20 everyday for parking (3 days). So I have that & car damag
