I didn’t like the fact of staying in a hotel with dogs being allowed. I am allergic to pet hair and pet dander. Each time my husband and I got on the elevator it smelled like dogs. I have used this same hotel for almost 15 years and have never seen dogs staying there before. Also why would you let people have dogs in a area where breakfast is being served? The commode kept needing a plunger and I called for one but never received help so we had to get on the smelly elevator and go down to the lobby bathroom. This was definitely my last time staying at Hilton Garden Inn on Owings Mill Blvd.

There was a long line at check in and the poor girl at the desk was working so hard while 2 managers watched her. The curtain in my room was not functional. I’ve learned not to book a handicap room because I could hear the people next to us all night. I didn’t realize the room would be connected to the next one by just a door.

The property is about two years behind in upgrades, painting, carpeting, beds and linens, etc. It is only a two star facility and should either upgrade or drop its rates.

I liked the size of my room. I hated there was no housekeeping. I had to go buy garbage bags and take the trash out.

It was very noisy. There were guests in the hall at 1:30am talking loud and playing music. It was difficult to rest/sleep. Seems like a lot of guests were booked for the 2nd floor. Makes me wonder if the other floors were noisey also?...My stay was very disappointing!
