3rd time wasn't the charm. Never again...

We had stayed at this hotel twice before and it was great, so we went again. Upon our arrival, AFTER we checked in and they gave us our room keys, we were informed that the A/C was out in the entire building, but were assured maintenance was working on it urgently. (We found out by looking up past reviews, the A/C has been "broken" for nearly a month.) We were told we could ask for a fan if we found the room too hot, and/or open the window. Once we got to our room we found the entire carpet to be incredibly sticky and the room was sitting at 28°. I went to open the window and found that the screen had been forcibly removed. I put the screen back as best I could then tried to open the window and quickly discovered the screen had been removed because the window crank was broken. I had to remove the screen again and push the window open. I called for a fan, but was told none were available. We had our 2 dogs with us and decided to give them a cold shower because they were overheating. That's when we found that the controls for the shower were labelled backwards and nearly cooked our dogs. Other things that added to our poor stay: Broken microwave (would not heat) Waterslide unavailable during the weekdays (not advertised on site) Door would not latch unless fiddled with after closing Broken crackpipe on the ground outside the main entrance (wish I was joking) Marijuana EVERYWHERE! We were not asked how our stay was, and I'm pretty sure they knew the answer already...

When I went to check in, the staff member made a comment saying “there was an issue with the room so we moved you to the only room that we have left that YOU picked…. Sooo”. Well, when we got to the room it was boiling hot! This old heater had the covers off and there was no ventilation. I felt like I was in a dungeon. When I went back to change the rooms, he said “go to Expedia”. I just needed another room, I wasn’t leaving (I should have). He gave us a new room. But it was still hot. Not as warm, but we’re in the middle of Summer, where is the AC?!? Elevator is a joke. The first floor/lobby is well kept, everything else is horrible. Don’t stay here.

Bad experience for this stay

The air conditioning was down at the hotel rooms. If I know this when I book this trip I will definitely choose another one. Towel has stain on it.

The hotel only opened the water slide on weekends, only had one small elevator for three stories, had no A/C anywhere, and had a smoking area directly outside of the only entrance/exit that you could use in the entire building.

This was by far the worst hotel at which I've ever stayed. In fact, we had a reservation for our trip back home that we canceled after staying there. No working air conditioning, so the room was sweltering. The elevator got stuck with me in it and I waited for 40+ minutes before I was able to pry open the door and crawl out. There was a used condom on the floor in the hallway outside my room, along with all kinds of food trash scattered around. The neighbors in the adjoining room were loud with music long into the night. The toilet ran constantly and the shower drain was backed up. So many individuals smoking right outside the main entrance that you walked through a haze of cigarette smoke just to get into the ONLY working entrance to the building. Not only did I cancel a future reservation, I will actively encourage anyone to never stay here.

The property had no air conditioning, apparently broken. The carpets felt wet and sticky even though they were dry. Numerous stains on the walls. The electricity went out a couple of times because they have too many appliances plugged into power bars. I overheard one of the staff saying they couldnt wait to leave this "sh*thole" after work. Terrible. Im sure all of the high ratings are fake. I will never stay here again. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

We got to the hotel at 2:20pm and told check in is at 3 pm. Left and came back after 3 pm to be told there is no air conditioning in the room. We went to the room and in front of the elevator there was construction debris. Asked for a fan and they were less than happy to help. Over all not a great experience.
