The rooms are clean and the furnishings are nice with unique reminders that it was once used to lodge military officers. The only downfall is the bathrooms. They are in desperate need of repair and renovation. ..."

"Overall, we had a fantastic stay at The Citizen Hotel! Check-in and checkout were both incredibly easy, and the staff made everything feel seamless. The restaurant downstairs was a highlight. We ate there for multiple meals and everything was fantastic. Our room was also nicely updated, comfortable, and had a lot of character. My only real feedback would be around cleanliness. There wasn’t a fitted sheet on the mattress, which was a bit of a bummer, and the shower had some visible mold in a few areas. The air filter was also noticeably full of dust and dirt and looked like it could use a good cleaning or replacement. Those details aside, we really enjoyed our stay and had a great experience overall. With a little more attention to the room cleanliness, it would have been excellent!"
