We checked in on September 6th and until the night of the 10th had problems with our room keys. They were swapped out, still didn't work. A worker was sent to our room and repaired the door lock. The next morning it didn't work again. And to make matters worse, the front clerk told us that evening that "the key worked for us." The next morning it didn't work again, we asked a different front clerk to come up and try it, it wouldn't work for her either. After that we were given one master key to use for the final day and a half. It was bothersome to have to chase down someone to let us into our room, and then also have a worker doubt us about the lock issues.

Overpriced when compared to neighboring properties. Spa is in poor condition. Restaurant marginal. Go down the road toward downtown you’ll find superior properties for less

Needs a Refresh

Pleasant front desk staff, horrible bar staff. They need to learn how to make a martini. Everywhere else in Banff makes great ones. Hotel was very comfortable but is in dire need of a refresh. Decor is stuck in the 80s. Rather expensive, all things considered.

Loved the efficient check in service! Our Junior Suite was SWEET! Very spacious and comfy sitting room and bedroom area and bathroom was top notch! , bathroom was well supplied with amenities and shower was divine. Only downsize was the staff in the bar area who appeared to be inexperienced in mixing and knowledge of beverages offered.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is clean and set in a quiet location, which made it very relaxing, yet it’s only a 10–15 minute walk to downtown—perfect for exploring the area. The room was spacious, and I especially loved the large, well-designed bathroom, which made the stay even more comfortable. Another great convenience is the Route 1 bus stop right next to the hotel, making it very easy to get around without any hassle. Overall, it felt like the perfect balance of comfort, peace, and accessibility.
