"Check in was easy.....Room was ready to go when I got there..They are doing updates to the property, so restaurant was closed. You have a mall and major thoroughfare right there, so plenty of shopping and food options to choose from...Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. A couple of drawbacks....Room looks like it was up to date, but carpet definitely needs to be replaced..HVAC system worked fine, but is missing the fan constant option, so you hear it kick on and off all night and it doesn't drown out the standard hallway noise. Overall, it's a nice, clean hotel with friendly staff...If you don't need a fancy hotel in downtown Grand Rapids, than this is definitely a good option and I have no issues with staying there again."
