The Sandman was a great choice for us visiting our grandkids. The pool was the main reason we chose to stay. Bed was comfortable, staff was friendly and housekeeping did a nice job keeping things tidy. There is a complimentary continental breakfast program which covered basic am needs. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean. Towels a bit thin. Overall, a good choice for us.

Connor at the front desk welcomed us warmly. He gave us a suggestion for a short walk to view salmon returning to spawn, as well as a nice restaurant where we could watch hang gliders in Howe Sound landing at the end of the day. Later, as we passed by, he asked if we were happy with the room and whether we needed anything more. We appreciated his interest in our having an exceptional stay. The room was spotless, the beds comfortable, and the continental breakfast was better than that offered in most motels. This property has earned each if my five stars. Bravo!

Staff was super accommodating allowing us a late checkout so we could come back and shower after our trail race at Alice Lake. Fun brewery and cidery we noticed on our nightly walk around the industrial park. Super comfy bed and pillows. My only complaint was the strong cleaner/air freshener smells as soon as I walked through the front doors into the lobby. Overpowering on the 3rd floor as well.
