Downtown Cabo San Lucas Hotel Guide\n

There’s something about the combination of white sand beaches and warm, royal blue water that holds a special place in your heart. The soothing sound of surf breaking on the beach puts you in the most tranquil mindset possible, 1,000 miles from your nearest worry. People look upon you with envy because of this formal state of bliss you’ve created for yourself. Some may even think it’s an illusion, but it's not. It’s your new reality for the duration of your stay.

Making your way to the bottom of the Baja California Peninsula, you quickly realize what’s been missing your entire life. And, hopefully, you’ve convinced your band of merry friends to join you on this marvelous journey—we’re willing to bet you they won’t refuse this incredible invitation—and if they ask you why they should join you, just tell them about the amazing sport fishing charters and the banana boat cruises you can take. If that doesn’t convince them, just entice them with pictures of perfectly cooked Mexican seafood dishes. Because of the downtown Cabo San Lucas hotels, especially ones like the Hotel Baja Cabo, your stay will be far from unforgettable.

Do I Need to Speak Spanish to Get Around Cabo?

It never hurts to speak the native language of the far-off land you’re visiting. Learning a few casual Spanish phrases for cruising through the streets of this vacation dreamland will only help. But don’t be worried if you can’t properly pronounce the tilde. Spanish isn’t the end-all-be-all in this town. Most of the locals speak very good English and are more than happy to converse with you. Whether you’re ordering a cold cerveza (that’s beer) from the pool bar, street tacos from a food vendor, or room service from hotels near downtown Cabo San Lucas, just remember, a solid “por favor” and “gracias” will go a long way.

Are There Any Good Restaurants in Cabo San Lucas?

That’s like asking if there’s any great sushi places in Tokyo. Given this city’s ideal location straddling the Gulf of California and the Pacific Ocean, it won’t be hard to find a place serving up delectable dishes of fine seafood. The wonderful aroma of fried fish tacos, grilled lobster tails and citrus ceviche waft through the avenues of the marina neighborhood. The catches of the day go from sea-to-table all in one day. Many of the great hotels in town like the Marina Sol A-380 have fine dining restaurants on the premises so you won’t have to go far for a great meal and a fantastic margarita. Salud!

It doesn’t matter if you’re going to relax on the beach, take part in an array of water sports, or to simply explore a Mexican town that has as much energy as a Tasmanian devil, book your downtown accommodation with Travelocity. And don’t worry about breaking the bank during your visit, with our deals on cheap hotels in downtown Cabo San Lucas, you won’t have a problem staying within your budget.
