"Overall, we had a great experience at this property. It’s quaint and quiet, which was exactly what my husband and I needed for a mini vacation before kids started school! The food was great, and the Spa onsite was incredible (highly recommend any of the ritual treatments. The one issue I had was when we checked in as Expedia VIP members, we were given a resort credit supposedly to be used towards anything other than ‘promotions, discounts, taxes, tips, or external services’. I ended up getting a nice pedicure on the last day as I haven’t used up the credit, only to learn during checkout that I wasn’t able to apply that to any of the ‘extras’ we used (onsite Starbucks, food, nor spa services). The attendee at the front desk couldn’t explain to me why, which was super frustrating. I even wrote to the Front Desk Supervisor, and no response. As an Expedia VIP members for a couple of years now, I was super disappointed that we didn’t get to take advantage of all that we thought the VIP access had to offer. I’m not sure if this was an Expedia issue or a Pueblo Bonito Resort issue, but had our trip no ended with our confusion that was unexplainable by the resort staff, this would have been a 5-star experience for us."
