It was a mess... lots of construction... a strange meandering layout, a poorly run restaraunt.

Very disappointing stay - switched hotels

Pros: Close to other activities when we couldn't use the pool.
Cons: Policy on water park - seriously, why not allow people to use it no matter how it got booked?
Location: Plenty to do nearby - good location
We were told by 2 different desk people that we could not use the water park in the hotel because we booked through a 3rd party - we couldn't even buy wristbands to use it. That was the only reason we stayed there and then to be told we couldn't use it was outrageous. We were AT the hotel and couldn't use the pool area. I was told later (by Expedia) that we could have bought pool passes. Then that's poor training because even the manager on duty told us that we couldn't. I was told I could cancel my reservation and re-book directly through the hotel for cheaper. To confirm I called Expedia then confirmed the price at front desk - the difference in price would have been +$80/night. I'm glad I didn't listen to that advice. There was about a 4'X4' area just outside my room that was leaking like a sieve when it rained. That's not only unsightly but downright unsafe and dangerous. If that sheetrock filled up with enough water, it could come crashing down, possibly on someone. The fire alarms kept going off, even woke us up, with no explanation. Floor in room wasn't clean but that seems almost unnecessary to say, given all the other problems.

We offer rooms or rooms with waterpark passes. This allows those guests who do not want to use the waterpark to pay a discounted price as they wont be using that ammenity. The Expedia room you booked did not include waterpark access. I am sorry that Expedia was not clear about that. When booking directly with the hotel we are very clear that different rates with different levels of access exist.

Alarms off every 2 hours/2 days mgr refuses refund

Tv didn't work,arcade locked, pull out bed didnt fit in room so 2 people and toddler in one bed. Alarms off every 2 gours for 2 days. Rude mgr refunded $25, said we should have left. Claimed room was deplorable but then amended that just vacuum and trash needed to be done. We demand travelocity refund asap
