The closet door won't stay open and is always swinging back on you as you try to put your items away, which is extremely annoying. Also, the drawers wanted to keep rolling open and we had to stand there and hold them closed for a few seconds every time. One night the room smelled of pot, particularly the bathroom, very badly. Needless to say I was not pleased as I was traveling with my minor daughter. My nephews who were staying on the 12th floor (I was on the 10th) reported the same experience. The parking lot badly needs to be repainted as you can barely see the lines. Check-in was quick and easy and the front desk attendant was very nice. The room was cleaned every day though I think she was really only remaking the beds and putting in fresh towels, maybe vacuuming. None of our items were ever touched. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good.

Wonderful location

The stay was so pleasant! You are very close to an abundance of restaurants! It is also easy to catch a ride with Uber from this hotel.

Faulty equipment!

Pros: It was actually quite nice up until the malfunction and the hospitality!
Cons: Their consideration, hospitality and concern for customer encountering mishaps!
At approximately 11PM I tried opening the safe in the room to retrieve some articles I had placed there earlier and received an error message. I called the front desk and they sent a technician. After several hours of attempting to drill into the safe with no avail I also attempted to help because the technician didn't know what else to do and I needed the contents. The safe was then yanked from the wall removed from the room to a utility room down the hall. After sometime and again with my help we were able to pry open the safe. The time was now around 1AM and considering the time it had taken and the help I had provided him the technician was nice enough to offer that he would speak to someone about our inconvenience. I received a call approximately 30 minutes later from him stating that there was nothing they would do. We finally went to sleep only to wake up 3 hours later to catch a flight. My family and I would like to thank the Westin for their consideration!

IT WOULD BE GREAT TO BE ABLE TO SHOWER IN THE AM!

Pros: The room was comfortable.
Cons: Shower did not function first morning. Control would not engage shower. Second morning, no cold water. Had to shower in different room.
