"We really liked the hotel as a whole, but there were some issues we encountered. Good stuff first. The room fit our needs, great view of the ocean, laundry room was good (we did 4 loads of wash), tasty doughnuts, and enjoyed our stay. Staff was great! But... We reserved our room with 6 travelers. Upon checkin, there were only 4 towels. We had to call and get more after going to the breach. Then, with 6 travelers, we needed the pullout bed. We found that the sheet was missing for the bed, and the mattress pad was full of crumbs. We removed it and shook it out...and called the front desk to get sheets. We tried to watch TV, but it wouldn't work. Figured out it was unplugged. We plugged it in, watched a bit, then headed to bed. The TV was wacked! It turned on 3 time in the middle of the night. We had to unplug it again. Never watched it again. On the second day, after a long day of exploring the area, and swimming in a river, there were no clean towels. Called the office again. We put on grandson in the shower with a damp towel, gathered the rest and waited. When housekeeping came and picke up the dirty towels, she returned with 3. Shorted again - 6 travelers. We made do, but had to call the front office several times over our stay. We had a rental car. Parking was difficult. Not enough stalls. The hotel shows its age and looks very rundown. However, we would consider staying there again."
