The Flamingo Inn is a classic motel property that has been recently renovated. Newer does not mean better and the Flamingo proves this. This property is meticulously maintained. The rooms are spacious (a real perk of older properties). We rented an efficiency. They have new furniture, appliances and linens. The kitchen was well appointed. The refrigerator is apartment sized, not a tiny dorm sized fridge. There was also a stovetop, microwave and coffee maker. There is no oven, but the property has a large gas grill for guests to use which is nice. ( And they provide BBQ tools). The pool was heated which I loved! Unlike many hotels and motels, we were provided with plenty of towels, wash cloths, etc. for our party of three. The pool towels were a nice size and plush. They are so much better than the thin white "dish towels" with a blue stripe that so many properties use. Everything on the property was in perfect working order. The entire staff from housekeeping, maintenance, front desk/manager is friendly and helpful. It was a great place to spend Jeep Beach 2025. We will be back.

Overall nice place to stay in, clean, friendly, etc. Only unexpected negative for us personally was that we were under the impression Front Ocean view ocean would be balcony completely facing the ocean but it was on the side with partial ocean view. Balcony was facing hotel next door where they had a walkway so no privacy for us in feeling free to leave balcony door open. At night you can hear clear conversations from some inconsiderate people in pool property and next door. First night 1-4am group of adults very disruptive loud behaviors causing for us to be awake the entire time. Second night a gentleman and a lady talking very loud this pool property. Just emphasizing that everything could be heard in our room very loud and clear.

This property it’s been renovated and it’s in excellent shape. Rooms are very clean and have lots of good perks for short and long staying. Sometimes we found small hotels we have doubted about been good enough. This is one of those surprisingly good. Highly recommended. The staff is amazing too. If I have to compare this hotel rooms with a big named hotel. There is nothing to envy at all. In fact better than most.

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay with clean rooms, nice pool, and we were literal steps from the beach. It's a smaller hotel, so the pool and beach were never crowded. Staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for a clean and friendly place to stay and don't mind not having the extra frills of a larger more expensive spot, this is it. I will 100% recommend this place to anyone coming to Daytona.

Other than being on the beach (although room only had partial view), we would have left immediately if we’d had other options. Dirty bedside table, used coffee filter left in the coffee maker from previous guests, non-existent WiFi, which also is supposed be to stream the TV. Very disappointing 😩

Flamingo Inn is a very nice clean hotel. Everything is very recently remodeled, the rooms are quite large and comfortable, the two wonderful ladies managing and running the property are very kind. Will return, was great for a quick weekend vacation. Pool was nice and it was heated. Everything was great!
