Unfortunately, the entire room was kind of gross. The floors were not vacuumed. The room kind of smelled weird and the floor of the tub was black.. The toilet was also loose from the wall so every time you sat down, it would make a ka-chunk.

Im from Canada, visiting relatives in willoughby. I left my phone charger in the room. I called back the next day, it was turned in. Great! I drove back to the hotel to retrieve it. Put it in my back, continued on to Cleveland. Went to charge my phone in Cleveland, noticed my charging cord had been switched out out! My cord was 8' long & fabric. This was 2' long & rubber/plastic. Called hotel again, said i would have to call back the next day & speak to "Ken". The onous was assumed to me for phone calls & driving all over the city/state. No offer to look after it for me. Will also be filing complaint with Red Roof head office

Positives: people at the front desk were helpful and polite. Check-in and check-out were easy. Bathroom was clean. Negatives: our room smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke to us that we left after a call to another hotel we had stayed at before to secure a last-minute reservation. Also, there was a bottle of Dr Pepper in the trash and when we pulled back the sheets, there was a boot print that we couldn't brush off on the fitted sheet - so the sheet was probably clean, but the stain was disconcerting to us.

I have to say, I liked this red roof inn quite a bit. The bed wasn’t super comfortable but besides that, everything was in good working order and pretty clean. The staff was very friendly and it definitely met my expectations. I would stay here again.
