Hotel close to community activities

The hotel stay was disappointing, before I booked my stay it clearly said complimentary breakfast with all the amenities that comes with my purchase. Once checked in, I was told I had to pay a $15.00 fee to use the gym which should’ve been with my purchase. The same morning which was Saturday Oct.7, 2017 I was told that my children and I had to pay $27.00 each for breakfast which was also included in my purchase. I am very disaapointed with the misleading information on the website, misguided staff at the hotel and overall our stay. One of the tubs in the room plumbing was broken, the water back up in the tub with rust colored water and the residue of soap and shower water during the shower. I didn’t expect this at the Hilton. I would like a partial refund of the money I spent on the room I booked and was not accommodated with anything as stated before the purchase!

Hotel was super cool and loved the original architectural combined with a modern flare. Plenty of amenities available! Room pillows left a little to be desired but otherwise was nice!

Great hotel in fabulous location!

Pros: Amazing location, big room with two bathrooms.
Location: Great location! Right on S. Michigan, across from Grant Park and just blocks from Millennium Park. Perfect walking access to everything in South loop!
We were dropping off our son at college. We have stayed at several Chicago hotels and have spent a lot of time in Chicago, but I really loved the hotel and the location. This one was beautiful, very clean, great service, and the room was large with 2 bathrooms at a very reasonable rate, with in/out parking included...a big plus when staying downtown! Parking needs to be factored into your cost because many places charge a lot over and above your hotel cost and don't allow in/out privileges. GREAT location...right on S. Michigan across from Grant Park. Great area for walking around, great feel of Chicago. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Luxury Stay for a Lovely End of Summer Getaway

Pros: The pool! The breakfast buffet. The decor with the chandelier and high end remodel.
Cons: Keep the pool open longer than 9:00 p.m.
Location: Across from Grant Park. Close to Art Institute...within walking distance.
Perfect pool with TWO spas! 44 laps = 1 mile. Fitness Center was welcome addition to many guests. Room provided was an upgrade to queen sized beds and larger floor space than original reservation. The dining room was great for breakfast. Elevators were so fast that we couldn't quite believe how they managed to accommodate the huge convention that inundated on the day we left. No one was left waiting for floor delivery. Room service was quick and food good. They even supplied tooth brush and paste when we realized we had forgotten ours. Close to Art Institute and took a young swimmer's recommendation to walk over to Yolk for breakfast. Nui's Japanese restaurant was also within walking distance.

Great location for walking to the museums.

We stayed for one night while in town for a concert. Parking was handy and reasonably priced. The walk to Soldier Field was easy before and after the concert. The room was nice, but having to pay for internet and the pool is kind of strange. The halls were dirty - we saw a ground-in bar of soap, wrappers, a glass, and a towel all in our portion of the hall. The lobby on our floor needed attention too.

Dirty towels?

Pros: Location
Cons: Clean linens in general are extremely important when it comes to comfort.
Location: Walking distance from Soldier Field, right on Michigan Av. There's so much to do! But if you are here, that's a good start.
Overall it's a nice hotel! BUT, when you go to a Hilton Hotel, you expect nothing but greatness. The room was clean, the temperature was comfortable not only at our arrival but throughout the night! NO freezing in the early morning. My only complain is about the towels they seemed dirty, like used before...gross!

Awesome hotel! Just what I needed!

This hotel was so much nicer than I was expecting in a great area. Perfect location on Michigan Ave. the staff was nice, the room was huge and clean. I'll admit it was a little noisy facing the train but I don't mind because it was sort of "white noise" to me and it was never annoying in any way. People who live in the city probably don't even notice. The shower/tub was clogged but that's easily correctable. Overal an awesome stay!!
