Except for one front desk person, all the others were not very service oriented. It was as if I was inconveniencing them asking for towels or pillows. I also found it strange that I had to request maid service every day. Otherwise I had to put my trash in the hall. The pool was still closed, even though water parks in the area are open. The restaurant/bar was closed. When I asked for towels I was told I would have to go back to my room and wait for them otherwise they would run out of towels at the front desk. Breakfast was very limited. The idea of having to pay for parking at the hotel I'm staying at seems ridiculous. What other option do I have when I'm staying at your property. At happy hour, I went to get my wife and I a drink and was told I could only get one drink at a time. With over 10 people in line behind me, that meant my wife was getting a drink, but I was not. Very strange policy. I requested a corner room, but was told there were none available, which seemed odd when there were very few people there at the time of check in. Overall, I felt I got very little for the inflated price I paid for our stay. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and was very happy with it, but this time the cost was almost double per night and I was basically paying for beds as the amenities were non existent. Will be looking at a different property on our next stay in the Chicago area.

Hotel was great. Quiet and clean. Unfortunately some of the Hotel guests used the parking lot to leave their garbage from the car.
