Ants and Bugs!

Our son attends Midwestern University so we visit this area often. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because it had a hot tub. When we went to use their facilities, it was awful! There were ants and large bugs everywhere! We were grossed out, but my husband has a bad back and we chose to use it anyway. What we didn't realize was the ants were actually in the hot tub too! They were in our suits and caused us to be extremely uncomfortable the whole rest of the night. We complained to the hotel staff and all we got was an apology and told that they would inform the hotel manager. Really? What happened to the 100% Guarantee that is posted right on their front door when you walk into their hotel? They obviously don't stand by this guarantee and we will NEVER stay at this hotel again!

Weekend getaway

I was not impressed. Too pricey for very little. Crappy cable. Thin sheets. No room service. Lounge closed on weekends. I want my money back.

Great location with excellent staff

Pros: The "make it or break it" is always the staff. I couldn't ask for more from the front desk staff to those that attend to the breakfast.
Cons: A little more attention to the pool area would be good. A couple times there were no clean towels and used towels scattered around.
I have stayed here a number of times and not only is it an excellent location (at least for my needs). The rooms clearly have been recently updated and are very well furnished and couldn't be cleaner or better maintained. The staff has always been friendly, professional and very attentive.
