Flight Review

Mar 13, 2020

Considering the state of things everything was done well and felt safe

Mar 13, 2020

Flight delayed

Mar 5, 2020

The friendly, helpful staff is a joy.

Feb 29, 2020

Overall flight was great

Feb 28, 2020

Two nice smooth flights (smooth in the sense of service - it was a bit bumpy due to wind - not under Delta’s control). Staff was friendly and attentive. I paid for Comfort + seats for my 6’3” height. Had plenty of legroom.

Feb 26, 2020

I liked that they gave us a fresh plane in Atlanta when the other one had a maintenance problem.

Feb 17, 2020

Easy check in at the kiosk and attendant was helpful.

Feb 16, 2020

actual food on long flight

Feb 12, 2020

Going from Orlando to Rochester was pleasant. Only issue is not being able to check in early due to no carry on and no checked bags. Irritating. Had to get in line In person and do the check in.

Jan 27, 2020

A seat on the plane was damaged which caused an hour delay but the pilot was visible and kept the whole plane updated and explained the cause and solutions for the delay.

Jan 27, 2020

Didn’t get a free checked bag?

Jan 25, 2020

My original flight was delayed that meant I would miss my connection. I was notified by text message about this issue, they put me on an early first-leg flight to correct the problem and upgraded me (exit row on one flight and first class on the connecting flight), which was a nice surprise (I did not ask for the upgrade).

Flights To Rochester

There are many reasons why a flight to Rochester, NY (ROC) is the best way to start your next picture-perfect vacation. Not only is Rochester the “Photonics Capital of the World,” but this busy region of New York also boasts year-round beautiful city views, complete with glistening waterfalls, unique architecture, and skyline reflections on Lake Ontario. So, feel free to document the trip with reckless abandon. Get to know the local arts scene with tickets to a performance at one of the many live theaters in the city, and be sure to visit the Charlotte-Genesee Lighthouse and the National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House for your Rochester history fix.

Transportation from ROC

When you step off the plane from your Rochester flight, you’ll be just a short 7 miles southeast of downtown, and close to the University of Rochester and several parks. Booking a hotel near Greater Rochester International Airport is an easy way to stay close to the city’s top attractions in a quieter neighborhood, but if you want to venture to the city center right away, you can catch a Regional Transit Service bus on Line 6. The bus stops right outside airport Entry B at the curb, and if you want to cut to the chase, snag a taxi outside the center entry (just down the sidewalk). Rochester is a driver’s city overall, though, and once you snatch your luggage from the carousel, you can rent some wheels on the lower level near baggage claim. Fill the truck with goodies at the Rochester Public Market, or join a ride share shuttle outside Entry A to go on a wine-tasting tour through the Finger Lakes.
