Flights To Red Bank
Wondering where you can go to experience an authentic New Jersey vacation? Red Bank flights get you to a part of the Garden State that offers horse farms, parkland, beaches, and shopping. In fact, you'll understand how New Jersey earned its nickname when you drive through the towns near Red Bank. Red Bank itself is bordered by the Navesink River, where you're bound to spot sailors, fishermen, and the occasional egret. You can't actually fly to Red Bank directly, but you can fly into Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), located about 40 miles away.
Transportation from EWR
Newark Liberty Airport consists of three terminals with an AirTrain system connecting them to one another, as well as to airport parking, rental car facilities, and NJ Transit and Amtrak rail lines. The North Jersey Coast Line offers daily direct service from EWR to the Red Bank train station. Buses operate from the airport, but most go to New York City, which is the opposite direction of Red Bank. You can take a taxi or local shuttle; inquire at the Ground Transportation Information Center, which is found on the same level as baggage claim in each terminal. Arrange for a shuttle or rental car before you leave home, when you're booking your airfare. Rental car facilities can be found at station P2 or P3 on the AirTrain line. If you're planning on driving to Red Bank hotels, ask the rental company representative about paying tolls on the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway, since you'll need to take both toll roads to get to Red Bank.
Experience Red Bank
It should take you less than an hour to arrive in Red Bank. You'll undoubtedly arrive hungry, so head over to Broad Street or Front Street to grab a bite to eat. Red Bank vacations are also perfect for antique shopping—you'll find most shops near West Street and West Front Street. Travelocity lets you search over 400 airlines and more than 510,000 hotels worldwide, including flights to Red Bank, so you can save money antiquing.
