Nice hotel with free shuttle service

Nice hotel with balcony room and nice amenities including a refrigerator, microwave, hand held shower and magnifying mirror. Fitness center with indoor swimming pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, hair salon, onsite lounge and dining options are all a plus. Motel section across the street has outdoor swimming pools and beach access and restroom facilities in the pool area is convenient. I visited off-season so the cafe on the motel side was closed but it's located by the outdoor pool overlooking the beach which is nice.

I am putting below what I put in my email to the hotel via the expedia portal: "Hello, there are a couple of things bothering me. First, your hotel is marked as an "Oceanfront" hotel and that is what I thought I was booking. When we pulled up, I see the hotel is one block away from the beach. I did not say anything when checking in as I did not want to seem like a complainer with my companion so we went about our business. The stay was generally ok but after getting home yestrerday and reviewing my reservation, there is nothing state on my reservation that said I would be a block away. I went and looked at all those beautiful photos online remembering why I booked this hotel, but yet I did not get any of that! no patio facing the water, no outdoor pool, no convenience of having a bathroom a couple steps away from the beach, nothing. yes, the room was ok. The next day when we went down the street to get coffee, I see you have another hotel there, on the beach. Why was I not staying on the Ocean front? We were never told about this at check in. Were there facilities there that we were allowed to use? Does not look like that was the case and yet you are charging us a resort fee. For what? you don't need beach passes after labor day. There are no outdoor grounds in the building we stayed and feel like it was a bait and switch. I feel like we got way less of a product than we were shown on your Expedia listing.

I was disappointed because the hot tub was broken. The mattresses need be replaced. The hotel is due for upgrade. It was fine for a weekend. Point Pleasant Beach is nice and the area. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

Our ocean view room was lovely, it was great having a sitting area with our choice of a room with a king bed in one room and a sofa bed in the other. Our only complaint is that the bed was hard and therefore uncomfortable.

Great location and Friendly Staff

Have stayed here multiple times. The location is key. On the beach and a short walk on the boardwalk to ALL that Pt Pleasant Beach has to offer. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Some of the rooms could definitely use a little more TLC for upkeep… (especially for the $ PRICE $ But I understand that it’s a beach front location, so wear and tear is a little more excessive. Overall I will always recommend this location for its convenience, pools, beach front location and its friendly staff.

The room was very disappointing. Housekeeping involved daily towel service and trash. No cleaning or service. Over sink light bulb out for entire 4 day stay. Toilet paper holder broken. AC unit loud and continuous buzzing. No table lamps. TV was small, maybe 21”. Litter outside room and parking lot. Pools nice and easy access to beach. Unlikely to return.
