Nice hotel.

Nice hotel. Very family friendly. Centrally located to wildwood boardwalk and Cape May. Pool was clean and plenty of deck chairs. Walking distance to the beach was a plus! Balcony was a nice touch.

Average hotel but not a resort

first time to Wildwood. El Coronado was a great location on the beach in the quieter part of Wildwood Crest. Beds and linens were not that comfortable. Pool and spa were nice and well maintained.

We upgraded to a room with ocean view, yes the view was spectacular. But that was it. You are only paying for the view. The hotel does not have heat, since we went for memorial day weekend and it was very chilly. They did offer a space heater. Also the toilet paper was BEYOND thin. It was the cheapest toilet paper you can imagine. The towels were also very rough. They did provide free breakfast after we complained about these issues, as well as our door being broken upon arrival. But it is breakfast off of another menu, not their original menu, which i thought was weird. The customer service and food was excellent. The hotel itself was not worth the money. I did notice that the women's bathroom in the lobby is updated and very nice, it had better toilet paper than our upgraded room. Just doesn't make sense.

Such a gem! We were there for my husbands graduation from Training Center Cape May and stumbled on this place. Could not have beat it. Such a great beach side place with a great view from our balcony. The price was also fantastic for what you get. El Coronado and Wildwood Crest will now be a place we put on our list to vacation in the future!

This hotel had no heat whatsoever called apprentice and they said it’s a summary resort we were freezing. I had to leave early morning. Did not stay the other night that I booked and did not get a refund.
