Check-in took very long with one person. We were disappointed that my father was assigned a room away from us (we were on second floor and he was on the first floor. Btw these reservations were made on the same ticket). My dad was assigned a room and as far away from front desk as possible, including going down a ramp. He walks very slow as you can image a 92 year old would requiring a walker. We had come to this hotel from out of state because we were burying our mother the next day in Queens. I didn’t want him to be exhausted from all the walking and in respiratory distress. I don’t t know how room generation works there should be a human factor and basic understanding of needs. This is what distinguishes okay from the better chains. First time using LaQuinta. Next time back to Marriott, Hilton or Hyatt.

There are so many GREAT things about this property and so many terrible things, I will let you know first you have to be able to sleep through anything here, walls are thing, Jersey is loud, I could tell if there was a helicopter or what this sound was all night. No noise poicy it seems there, maybe visit on a down time. I think the hotel needs some upgrades furniture was stained in dirty in lobby, pool furniture def needed some updgrades, also looked dingy and dirty. But on the upside, staff were amazing and friendly and heart warming! The pool itself is freaking amazing, its big and warm!!!! The room size is amazing, especially if you ever stayed in the city, reminded me of a lux Disney room, but on the downside beds felt old and lumpy. The fridge you get in this room is A+ not only is it big but it has a freezer! I wish they would upgrade this hotel and put in a noise policy because it has super potiental! Its right next to a red robin so not sure if the noise going on ALL night was from bar people but I think if this place got some upgrades and found a way to limit noise it would be a number 1 choice.

The walls of the rooms are very thin. There are limited options for breakfast. There's no even bacon. This was not my first time at this hotel. It was fine before. The *now* limited breakfast options accompanied with the strictly thin walls are big downsides for my taste.

Breakfast was nice, rooms were clean. Dining option near. Its a bit tricky to get on the road so I recommend getting on the road by the back part/Southside of the Hotel.

Breakfast buffet good with hot food sausage patties and scrambled eggs - would have liked a different choice of hot food daily instead of same every day. Handy hotel to walk from Delawanna railway station (regular reasonable price train service to NY) a good value option to staying in Manhattan

I drove to Clifton NJ from.Western PA. We have had terrible weather and did not know how to time the travel. I arrived early as usually properties will accommodate. The desk staff was indifferent which is not a good look in the hospitality industry. When * did check in, the desk staff put the expected hold against my card. When I went back later for a soda and chips, I asked them to bill it to my room. The front desk said that they do not do that and had to pay cash or card. When I checked out, I asked for the hold to be removed, they said it would be done after the room was cleaned and inspected. The release could take 3 to 5 days. I have cancelled future reservations with this property and will use an AirBnB for my Feb trip to Clifton
