Quiet, ambient gem located on the Jersey Shore. I went during March (Winter) and it was a very peaceful stay. Loved the touch of local chocolates every night! Nicole, the receptionist, was very accommodating and understanding 😁 Absolutely grateful for her! My only issue was the laundry system... I bagged my laundry for the staff to clean using their laundry bag that they provided but it was not taken care of; maybe I was unaware of the proper procedures. The other issue was the construction there during the time (which again, is not the property's fault), so I could not find a place to park other than street parking across the street, but there's no helping that.

Check in took too long because the front desk was on the phone for a long time. We were given vouchers for a cocktail for the delay but we didn’t use. After we ate out for dinner and when back to our room to settle in the tv did not work. We had to be moved to another room which took some time.

The property was incredibly clean and nicely decorated. The location was fantastic and parking was convenient. Everything about our time there was wonderful. We would like to return in the summer!

Parents sent us here for our birthdays. Checked in and sent to room. Lo' and behold, someone was already in the room. Front desk didn't think this was a big deal...we did. No apology or upgrade for inconvenience. Not even a free drink offered. This is a property that should have better concierge service especially when a mistake is made on their part.

*No place to park and no valet parking. I parked on street. *Bed was below standard. Too soft and not comfortable. *Could not get room warm. It was very cold outside our visit. When we informed front desk about problem they gave us a portable heater. That was not enough to resolve our issue. The hallways and hotel lobby were fine but not our room. We checked out a night early and believe we should be refunded 1 night. Hotel staff said they would not. We were very disappointed with our visit to the Reeds . We would not return there.

I’ve been to this property several times and usually enjoy it. However, the front desk staff really ruined this stay. I arrived for check-in and waited 10 minutes before any staff arrived. I asked for a late checkout and the front desk representative granted it to me for 12:30. She asked that I remind the desk in the morning. The next day I spoke to another front desk clerk and she rejected my late check out. When I tried to explain that the staff last night approved it, she simply pushed back that there was “no way to give a late checkout.” This really is awful service and shows the disconnect that the front desk staff have with each other. I was very surprised. This interaction really makes me feel like my business does not matter and I will probably take pause before I book another room there.
