We stayed at the hotel because our flight into Buffalo was delayed. By the time we landed, a couple inches of snow had fallen and it was dark. The drive on I-90 to Erie is very dark from just west of Buffalo all the way to Erie. Plus there was the issue of road conditions, We had a good experience at the hotel three years ago, so rather than risk driving back Erie, we booked a room there for the overnight stay. We didn’t use the airport shuttle this time since we had not planned on an overnight stay. Anyway, the upgrades to the hotel since our 2022 stay were impressive. (We missed he morning pastries, though.) the room was clean and comfortable. Also, we appreciated having the wing place to grab a 9 pm meal since we hadn’t eaten. (Delicious wings!) Thank you!

The room was fine. The bed area was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the climate was great, as were the pillows. The bathroom was too small. We had to manipulate our legs to get in there and close the door at the same time. It was well-kept but some upgrades are needed, like the curtains. The walls were not sound proofed enough. We easily heard neighbours and what was in the hallway. Thankfully, it wasn't a noisy night. It was good value for what we paid.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Avoid this hotel at all costs if you do not want to deal with BED BUGS! THE HOTEL IS FULLY AWARE OF THIS INFESTATION! I called the hotel a day after I checked out to let them know I had itchy bites all over my body. They told me they were aware about the problem but that my room had “ just been serviced “ so they don’t know what happened there. I should have checked this hotels reviews before I decided to book this hotel because it would have saved me from sleeping with bed bugs and getting bites all over my body! I never experienced a hotel with bed bugs before this was a very sad lesson well learned! Always check reviews on the hotel and the beds before lying down and going to sleep!!! Be safe!
