The location and cleanliness of this Vrbo were excellent overall, and the downtown setting was very convenient.However, there were several comfort and communication issues that impacted our stay, many of which seem very fixable for the host. The biggest issue was temperature control. The listing advertised air conditioning, but there was no way for guests to actually control the temperature, and the room became extremely hot. We later found a portable unit stored away, but it was not set up or explained.Blackout curtains are also badly needed. The bedroom gets very bright at night and early morning, and this same issue was mentioned in a review from two years ago with no changes made. Because of the downtown location, it is also very loud, and a fan or white noise machine would help significantly.We also had issues with basic supplies and amenities. Only two bath towels were provided for a 7-night stay for 2 people, the body wash was empty on arrival, and there were very limited outlets, making charging devices inconvenient.The door lock was also confusing with no instructions provided. Clear check-in guidance or a small instruction booklet would have made this much easier.Finally, while the space was generally clean, there were blue stains on the sheets and comforter that raised concerns.Overall, great location and cleanliness, but several small, easily fixable issues impacted comfort and communication during the stay.
