Less than a four-star hotel

Pros: We liked the staff and their helpful and positive attitude.
Cons: We didn't feel that the value offered by the hotel was commensurate with the cost.
Location: Great shopping and fun restaurants of every strip in easy walking distance. In fact, I can recommend Back Bay Harry's, which is essentially adjacent.
The hotel is enjoyable enough, although I'd stop short of a four-star rating because the room was less spacious and comfortable than I'd perceived it to be from the online listing. When we made the booking, we were assured that we'd have a room with a view and--unless a "view" is defined as "anything you can see out the window--I don't feel that we had enjoyable view at all. Those things said, the staff was excellent...friendly, eager to help, refreshing.

Great hotel, exceptional employees

Pros: The rooms were beautiful, quiet, great bed, shower and views.
I arrived at the Loews Hotel hours before check-in time. Immediately, Sandy offered me a room facing inside but she said it would only be an hour for my preferred view. They checked my bags while I went to breakfast. When I returned, still before check-in my room was ready. I was only there for one night and had an extra hour before I headed to the airport. Again, they checked my bags. There were at least three times during my stay when I was struck by the professionalism and warm hospitality. As I left I tried and failed to give Sandy a tip for great service and she just smiled and said, but that's my job. If only more people were like the staff at the Loews I would look forward to traveling for work.

Well located, well-appointed hotel

Pros: Location. Service.
Cons: Housekeeping did not come back to clean our room one day after had put the privacy sign out.
Location: Boston Common. Trinity Church. Boston Public Library. Duck Tours. The Prudential Center.
My recent stay at the Loew's was wonderful. While our room wasn't huge the king size bed was super comfy and the bedding pretty luxurious. We loved the location of being so close to Copley Square, the Boston Public Library and Boston Common. I was in town for a conference at the Fairmont and would stay at the Loew's again in a heartbeat. The staff found out that my boyfriend and I were recently engaged and sent champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to our room! Between the decent restaurant (Precinct) and the always-open coffee bar in the lounge, I highly recommend the Loew's!

Great Location in Back Bay

Pros: The Precinct Bar and the oysters were terrific!
Location: The location is great, and in walking distance to Newbury Street, and the South End restaurants.
The hotel we always stay in Boston was booked. We were hesitant to try a new hotel, but did so based on the reviews on this site. The Loews Hotel in Boston Back Bay certainly lived up to the reviews. The hotel was recently renovated, and it is clean, the rooms are very comfortable, and it's a very classy place! We look forward to staying at the Loews Boston in the future!

Great hotel with a history!

Pros: Room & location.
Cons: Not a thing- perfect stay!
Location: Back Bay is a good base area from which to explore the whole city.
If you want a great location in the Back Bay, this is a perfect choice! Hard to believe it was once Police Headquarters, but Loews did a great job of maintaining the historic façade with modern, plush rooms. Wifi service was spot on for 3 devices, and lots of great restaurants & shopping nearby, including a nice café in the hotel basement.

Great hotel

Pros: Nice linens, nice lobby area, nice work-out room
Cons: No complaints
Location: Close to Copley Square, close to Boston Commons, subway just 2 blocks, close to Prudential center
Stayed here for a business meeting in Boston; it was just a few blocks from the Prudential Center, which was an okay walk, partly inside if you wanted. Pretty new; very clean and well mantained. Nice bar/restaurant , also nice exercise room; nice room comfort

Awesome hotel for romantic getaway.

Pros: Great staff, location and beautiful rooms.
Cons: No flaws during our stay.
Location: Great location and felt very safe.
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for our 30th anniversary. I picked it because of its location, which was close to a guitar concert that we would be attending. I told the hotel staff that it was our anniversary and they had champagne and chocolates delivered to the room while we were out. They recommended a steak restaurant that was across the street and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The room was very nice and clean as was the entire hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly and we would definitely stay there again.

Boston vacation to visit relatives

Pros: Centrally located, clean, the coffee/tea self serve in the lobby is fantastic and so appreciated!
Cons: We were put in a handicapped room and the shower was a trickle. The hotel was not full....we let the front desk know but they did not move us.
Location: Use public transportation, walk everywhere, enjoy all the food! Winter doesn't allow for some attractions, but still plenty to do. Cant wait to go b
First time in Boston, brought our teenagers. Had an amazing time, so much to do in the CITY!
