We booked the room and when we arrived the hotel didn’t have our room available. They provided us a room way less than what we paid room. Of course they reimbursed the difference. In the picture you will see how filthy this place is!!!!!!

Good Inexpensive Option

The property is old and down at the heels - in the process of slowly being upgraded. Rooms were clean but well-worn. Staff was excellent, responding quickly to questions or problems - particularly Myra who was to be found both behind the front desk and heading housekeeping. Location was very convenient - walking distance to the Capital, to museums, Congress Ave, restaurants and bars on 6th Street, the Paramount Theatre, Driskill Hotel, etc.

The bath room was disgusting. Felt like I needed a shower after I took a shower. I booked this because they had an outside pool, but it was just a big bird bath. Obviamente hasnt been cleaned in forever. Staff was friendly and the valet guy was too. There was construction but that didn't brother me as much as the dirty floors and the poor breakfast. Which you can barely call breakfast. Almost chemical "orange juice", rubber eggs, 2 cereals. They did have a waffle maker. The location is nice though, walking distance to the Capitol and 6th Street is just a 10 minute walk.

Just OMG and you have to pay to park

First - $32 hours to park for 24-hours! This place is more run down than you would expect for the price. Has an old motel feel on the outside, and about the same on the inside. There have been no updates probably since the place was built. Beds were comfortable and sheets felt clean. AC had a flashing light that strobed on the ceiling all night, the door lock didn't work so the only thing locking the door was the worthless flip lock that was barely hanging on, our door had a gap at the top, bathroom had mildew growing on the ceiling, so we skipped showering and brushing our teeth. For one night it was doable, but we would have left and went somewhere else if we had planned to stay longer. Definitely would not recommend if your budget can afford staying somewhere else.
