"We enjoyed our stay at Read House. We upgraded at registration for the suite in the older part of the hotel. The decor was very nice and amenities were serviceable. The elevator on that side is pretty slow. In fact, I believe only one was working during our visit. We used valet the whole time, and they were very quick and professional. We dined in the Chop House one evening and enjoyed that meal. It was small and busy, so reservations are a must. We also enjoyed the bar in the lobby. Everyone was very friendly and helpful during our stay. There was no restaurant for breakfast, but the room service was reasonable, it was delivered on time, and the food was hot and good. I recommend a stay here, and the location is central to a lot of things to do and see in downtown Chattanooga."
