The hotel is lovely and the service has been great so far. The staff are friendly and courteous. The hotel is clean and in a great location. We’ve used the valet parking and would highly recommend using it. Worth the cost because you have to pay for parking no matter where you park.

I booked a room at The Read House and they gave us a room at the Manor "at the Read House" which is connected at the Read House lobby. It was terrible. I paid a premium at price for The Read House and got a third class hotel. The staffs response was essentially the Read House is fully booked and too bad for you.

Quick one-night stay in this remarkable building from the old era with modern amenities and an outstanding restaurant. The pool was closed, unfortunately, although the Garden Terrace area was enjoyable. The lobby of this hotel is so inviting and comfortable. The rooms were updated and very large with more than enough space. In fact, the bathroom was massive.

Such a beautiful hotel. We went back in time and enjoyed pure luxury. Toured room 311, infamous ghost Annalisa. The bar and billiards were fun. The surrounding area has lots to offer and walkable. All staff were so attentive. Enjoyed the history. Already planning a trip to return and have family join. Thank you.

Hotel lobby was very extravagant but our room was outdated. They had done wallpaper and little furnishings to make it seem less out of date. Bath tub was dingy, lots of needed paint to cover scuffs etc. our first night we got the shampoo and it looked like half of it had been used already so we threw it away. Staff very nice and the valet guys go above and beyond. Kids loved the pool but it didn’t seem heated at all. Starbucks was a plus! But the steakhouse is definitely not kid friendly, more of a date night spot.
