We had a wonderful vacation at the Iberostar. Beautiful landscape, tropical wildlife, nice beach and comfortable rooms. Delicious food, friendly staff, lots of activities and great entertainment. I wish we could stay more than 2 weeks!

"Family Mexico Vacation"
We chose this hotel for the size. Not too big, not too small for the first time traveling with our 6 year old out of the country. The rooms and hotel in general are very clean. Wear and tear on the rooms is normal but did not bother us. The food was a 7 out of 10 at the various restaurants, a 6 out of 10 on the general buffet but if you stick to fruits, veggies, and other basics, it is more than adequate (understanding how difficult it is to produce a buffet for many people over long stretches of time). There were many activities for kids and adults alike. The foam pool party was a riot! The beach club has snorkels and masks and kayaks that you can take out to use. The beach is a small bay which was just perfect for us. We had brought a relatively inexpensive mask and snorkel for our daughter and about 30 yards from the edge of the water, only getting about waist-deep for an adult, it gets rocky but that is where the fish are for snorkel viewing which our daughter could not get enough of. The entrance of the water can be a little rocky at times so water shoes for kids are good. The property was small enough that if you forgot something in your room, it took you no time at all to run to get it. However, the rooms were quiet, seemed well insulated for sound. We had a room on the back side of the hotel where the dolphin lagoon is and that was fun and relaxing and quiet to sit there and watch the dolphins. Overall the staff was very nice and accommodating.

"Had a great time."
Everything was great. The place was very clean. Customer service was great. Everyone was very friendly. The beach is huge with lots of space even during a very busy week. It does have some sea weed but it didn't bother us too much. There is a sandbar you can swim out to with no seaweed. Lots of kids and lots of families. Very family friendly. The only somewhat negative feedback is the food. Thank goodness you have a few different options because a lot of the food is very bland. Traveling to Mexico I expected to encounter some flavorful Mexican food and unfortunately at this resort they do not have that. It seemed like we had to go on a mission to find chips, salsa, guacamole. Weirdly enough the best restaurant there was the Asian food place.

Been here many times and enjoy it every time Stayed in a privilege suite and is well worth the price just for the roomyness alone Bufets were average but the ala carte restuarants were good Now the cons: resort seems to be catering more towards the French visitors and the activities team has really gone downhill There use to be numerous activities around the pool all day and now very few They diffently need to step up their game Would we come back probably but there is definitely room for improvement

Great place to stay ,from the reception when we got there to the awesome room. The staff were incredible and always helpful. The grounds were well kept and the room we had was large and spacious, close to the infinity pool and the beach. The food was fabulous and the specialty restaurants great. overall one of the best vacations ever.
