"Upon checking into the hotel, we drove around to find our room. The room was on the second floor so we decided to just use the stairs. Upon exiting the stairwell there was a bag of trash lying on the floor and pizza boxes on top of the trash can. This was understandable as it was 4:00 pm. We entered our room and it had an odor. Noticed that the tv rotating base was mounted and broken so that the tv leaned backward. Then I grabbed the remote to the tv to see if the tv even worked. There was not a back on the remote. Tried to use the remote to turn on the tv to no avail. Finally used the power button on the tv itself to turn it on. After a few seconds, Family Feud popped up on the tv and the channel could not be changed. Called the front desk to inform them about the tv and the remote. They told me that they would try to come check it if they found time to. In the meantime, noticed that there was makeup on one of the pillows. Pulled back the sheets to inspect them and they did appear to be clean. We had a graduation to go to so we left to attend. After the graduation ceremony, we went to Walmart and purchased Lysol. Entered the room and sprayed everything to disinfect and help make the smell not so noticeable. Pulled sheets off and sprayed everything, including the bathroom. As I was spraying the bathroom, I noticed a few small insects around the tub and sprayed them directly. Returning later, the smell was better. Would never stay here again."
