"The hotel was in a safe area and clean. Staff was excellent. The only problems were the pigeon noises at 4 am and the bathroom light would sometimes flicker. Not enough to cause us to call the front desk though. A good stay."

"The air conditioner made a loud noise and did not work properly. The fridge did not work. Asked for another, and it was never repaired or replaced. The shower is very short. Not recommended for tall people. Breakfast was below average. Limited selection. Stale bread."

"They don’t allow check in until after 3pm and apparently their maintenance and housekeeping staff all leave before 4pm, so there is a very small window to correct any issues. I arrived during a news-making heatwave and the a/c was broken. I turned it on and tried to give the room time to cool, but it never did. The receptionist told me maintenance had gone for the day and there was nothing they could do. Later that evening I realized there were no covers on the twin bunks for my children, just a simple sheet covering the mattress. Again I went to tell the reception desk (a new person by this time) and was advised that housekeeping was gone and “why did I care about covering up if the room was hot anyway.” The poor service, lack of regard for my children, and complete lack of hospitality was shocking to me. I was moved into a much smaller room the next day and not offered anything from the hotel for the issues and poor service. What a terrible way to spend time in a beautiful city."
