This was a well-located haven for our Vancouver visit, close to town, transportation (if without a car), and friends/family. It was a welcome treat to have access to private parking and to have a separate entrance. Our ensuite room had everything we needed, including a wonderful bed/bedding. A note of welcome, and later, farewell, was a nice personal touch. Great breakfast, nice conversation with another guest and host, who was very welcoming and informative.

The home and owner, Randy, were welcoming with excellant communication and service. The room was tasteful with good space and comfortable , double sinks in the ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and creative, with great company for conversation. I would only suggest the hosts check the room temp before arrival, as weather is now so variable. We had an accommodating stay.

Thank you to Randy and Pam for such an amazing stay. It was centralized to the places we were looking to go and the breakfasts were absolutely amazing. Our room was a Junior room. Very clean, closet was a great size and bathroom was lovely. Bath tub was great. Bed was so comfortable. The house was beautiful and we got to meet some great people during our stay. If we ever get back to BC will definitely want to stay again!

Randy and Pam were amazing. First ever B&B and I'd go back and do more of these visits. The carpet was super plush and clean, which was welcome to me as in Vancouver you take off your shoes. Amenities were wonderful as well. Pam even noticed that I was taking off my makeup each night and brought me micellar water to clean with! One suggestion - perhaps have takeaway cups for to-go coffee?

What a wonderful place! It was very comfortable, with excellent amenities. The room was spacious and well appointed. The breakfasts were delicious! The host family are delightful, and very helpful with suggestions of local things to do. There are plenty of restaurants within a short drive, or a longer walk if you’re able. The location is great for access to downtown, Kerrisdale, VGH, False Creek, Granville Island, and pretty much anywhere you want to go. We will definitely stay here again if we can.

Expedia acts as an email intermediary between the guest and the user, and if their application doesn't work properly, you have major problems because the guest can't contact you, nor can you contact them. It was a challenge, but we were able to solve it without Expedia.

Randy was an incredible host. I didn’t have the opportunity to meet his wife Pam unfortunately but she kept our room clean and bed freshly made. Was a nice touch to have a welcome message upon arrival, 2 cookies in room with flowers and a goodbye note upon leaving. Coffee and hot meal for breakfast was perfect way to start if the day! It was a home away from home. It was my first experience of a B&B and I quite enjoyed it. Property location was great and a parking spot also appreciated. Thanks Randy and Pam. I would definitely stay again.

Great locale close to wonderful park

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Granville House. It is a superb gem, great location, wonderful hosts and the facilities left nothing to wish for. Everything was exceeding our expectations, from the spacious room to the immaculate cleanliness. The B&B features nice historic paintings, and the hosts have quite the stories to tell. We had a very good two nights in this B&B, and we would recommend it to our friends without hesitation.

The hosts are a friendly, experienced hostel business family. I enjoyed the breakfasts and the homey vibe. I'd like to leave two hopefully helpful pieces of advice for the visitors. If you're using a ride-hailing service, the car is not supposed to stop at the front of the house; it's better to use the spot on W 35th Ave or the back alley to get on / off. If your booked room is on the second floor and your luggage is heavy, be ready to lift it by yourself, as there is no elevator available.
