Its good and modern looking, in fairly good place to most of the things you want to visit and main advantage is noticeably lower price tag then comparable properties. Room also looks modern and clean but I didn’t expect how poorly its build as you can hear literally everything from the corridor. After 7.30am you won’t be able to sleep anymore. Also their booking system is a little disorganised (and I was given already occupied room) and I didn’t get benefits from being VIP (upgrade) because receptionist forgot about it. I hate to bring it up myself, especially in presence of other customers.

Pretty good place to stay

We were in town for an event at the Scottish Rite and this was a great location for that! We had the Executive Suite and it was HUGE! That was a welcome surprise! My only real complaint was the futon was extremely uncomfortable.

Even if going for cheap, there are better places

I went on the cheap end for this quick family get-away. Room, bed, bathroom, etc., fine for price point, but if you stay here you HAVE to be on the top floor (3rd). There is no sound-proofing between floors. Walls were ok, though doors don't fit jams, so you seen a bright glow from the hall all the way around the door (never gets fully dark in room) and you hear everything in hallway and when other doors close, yours rattles. We got in after 10p.m. the first night, and around midnight it sounded like someone was moving things or building something above us, waking two of us up. We let it go for about an hour before calling front desk. At about 1:30a.m. there was a knock on the door and the front desk person asked if it was better (waking our daughter up, don't know why they didn't text or call). It wasn't. They said they would contact the room again. At 2 it was still constant noise, so we called again and they had us move rooms. We were dead tired for our one day in town. The next night we were woken again at 2 in the new room, just normal walking around sounds so nothing to complain to anyone about, but the floors/ceilings are so paper thin you hear everything. We suffered another night and drove home in the morning. Other than sleep, room was fine for price. There is an extra charge for parking if you want it, so be aware.

There is no one working there outside of “normal business hours”. So if you arrive after 5pm, you’re SOL. Good luck getting into the building. The parking garage is gated, yes, but anyone can drive up and get in. If you’re not one of a lucky few who can snag a limited hotel-designated spot on ground level, there is no elevator to help you get your luggage downstairs. The room is way too small for the cost. The “convenient” usb plugs in the lamp don’t work. The hotel room door closes & locks but doesn’t seal; there was bright light shining in from the hallways all night. For the size of the bathroom, the shower was a postage stamp.

They were nice but won't stay again.

The person at the front desk checked if our room was ready and said it was clean. We walked into the room and it was much, much smaller than what was shown online (it happens) but then the bathroom was a huge mess with drywall dust everywhere. They clearly did some remodeling and didn't clean the room yet. There was even dust on the furniture outside the bathroom and a half empty mug on the desk. While checking in we noticed other guests were also complaining about their rooms being dirty and one was supposed to be getting a new one. They did apologize without question and gave us a new room. The new room was exactly what was shown online. The bathroom was the same as the other but was 100% clean. However, the hotel as a whole feels like something designed by someone who hasn't actually set up a hotel before. The shower, for example, has a shower head on a sliding holder connected a handle mounted on the wall of the shower. But none of those pieces were purchased or designed to go together because the slider did not fit the shower head, which meant the shower head flew off the slider as soon as the water was turned on and sprayed water everywhere. The handle the slider was on was just a standard shower safety handle so the slider would only stay at the bottom. This all meant I had to wedge the shower head into the safety handle where it only sprayed at my waist or I had to hold it the entire time. You get the idea.

The checkin was easy, the staff was nice. The room was cute, but small. What i didnt like is that with the damage deposit, we end up paying almost $270, and we didnt feel safe. The smoke detector in the room was disconnected and stored in the bedside table, we were accosted by some drunk couple in the parking garage( im a single mom with 2 teens), and the only thing between us and the hall once we were in our room was a chain lock and a key pad that only required a 4 digit number to unlock. Nothing happend once we returned to our room but it was still a little unsettling not having the safty of a stronger locking system, or a working smoke alarm.

This property was good value for the price; our Quad room was comfortable and accessible, and the kitchen appliances in the main common room were a useful option. We refilled our coffee and tea many times at all hours. The small workout room has the basics and doesn't feel too crowded. The photos and descriptions are all accurate. We had some hall/room noise bleed thru during the night, but nothing obnoxious or sustained. All guests observed the quiet hours. Check-in/out was very easy and the attached gated parking garage was convenient with a code. There's a Walgreens across the street. We could easily walk to 2 wine bars, a jazz club, a coffee shop, and a fantastic Indian food truck in the gas station parking lot on the corner. For those who are comfortable with city walking, the Metro train stop is less than a mile down a main street, and we were able to catch a bus to downtown at the stop across the street. The city seems to have excellent street & lot parking for drivers.

Stayed here during a road trip. Hotel and staff were lovely! Parking is a gated garage, which is perfect for most, but we were in a moving truck that wouldnt fit. Staff was incredibly helpful in finding us alternate parking and making sure all our needs were met.

When we arrived at the property, the room they rented us didn't lock. We went to press in the code and it just opened and just remained open. This was a major safety concern for us. The front desk attendant wasn't very helpful and initially promised us a refund after we were switched between three different rooms before finally receiving the one we originally booked. However, when we checked out, we were told we would no longer be receiving that refund. It took us two hours to get settled into the room, and the whole experience felt unfair. I would not book this place again—it was a terrible experience. (Some of the rooms also have aluminum on them to keep the doors locked, i don’t know thought that was odd)

meh ...

For the cost it was an acceptable room in a nice location. The bath mat was dirty with something dried on it and the bathroom itself wasn't very clean. I had to park outside of the garage due to the size of my vehicle and there was damage done to it and something added to my gas tank. I understand this isn't the hotel's fault, but it is given as a suggestion to use the parking garage. I also found the shower head to be so high in the shower that it was hard for me to stand under it to wash the shampoo out of my hair without being pressed against the wall of the shower. I'm 5'8", so average height.
