For the most part the staff were wonderful, professional and welcoming. Only issue no elevators. Kind of tough for the elderly or people with back issues to carry luggage up the stairs. I know the hotel was built back in the day and it was very cute and historical. Otherwise we so much enjoyed our stay!

We prefer smaller, quaint hotels with character rather than big fancy ones. This one sits between some high rises and it’s a little gem in the middle. There are no elevators and we stayed on the 3rd floor but it was worth it. The balcony outside of the room faces the beach and the pool. There is no parking but we were able to park on the street for free. They do not provide beach chairs but the beach in front is nice and they do provide towels. Hotel was a 15 minute from drive from Old San Juan and a 20 minute drive from the airport. There is a small market/grocery store a couple restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.

Prefect location! Seconds from the beach. Hotel is very cute and has a lot of character. Not a commercial property at all which I absolutely adored! Hot tub was huge and perfect at the end of the night after a long day of walking old San Juan downtown area. Staff was friendly and attentive. You do have to walk stairs depending where your room is because it's a smaller hotel it has no elevator but we didn't mind at all because the view was gorgeous! Overall we would definitely stay there again! We recommend it to all our family and friends! It was my first time in Puerto Rico and plan to go back very soon! Side note we didn't have a fridge in the room which was the only down fall but they did provide an ice bucket but a fridge would have been perfect.
Prefect view from room 308! Cute and comfy. Hotel has a lot of character.

The staff was not attentive to our concern of non-parking. We were not given any parking options and when asked we were told that the only parking is on the street. After driving around 3 blocks away from the hotel we were told that you have to have luck to find parking. We rented a car for our trip and didn't feel safe leaving the car in the street over 3 blocks away. And when we asked to cancel our reservation because we didn't want to stay there they refused. Ultimately we paid for a hotel reservation that wasn't used. Worst customer service ever. Don't stay there if you rent a car because you will not find any parking.

I like to be fair in my reviews, but this Hotel is no hotel at all...First, my room was on the 1st floor, and all the chatting in the lobby felt like being in the room. Second, the room is extremely tiny, measuring 9x9; you can barely walk straight, let alone with a King bed. However, the worst part is that there is No Parking at all on the premises, which is a residential area. Private Parking is about 1 mile away. Sorry, not recommended.

If you are a full service, total comfort, beach resort type person you probably will not like this hotel, but if you are the kind of person that enjoys charming, quaint, family vibe stays with the necessities, an emphasis on location, walkability to other areas of San Juan and proximity to the beach you will enjoy this hotel. Staff was very helpful with extending our stay by one day. The pool is also warm and nice but with the sea so close by you barely need it! Lots of coffee spots, convenience stores, great food (Bebo’s) nearby in walking distance. The only complaints I have is WiFi was spotty and the AC leaked water with the humidity and the room got extremely bright if you were trying to sleep in late but if you’re on island time it was okay. My suggestions would be thicker drapes for the beach facing rooms and perhaps a tap/bucket with water to wash sandy feet outside the entrance to prevent sand inside the property (beach hotels in the Maldives & India do this as well). Overall 4-star stay and I would definitely return here on my next trip.
