"Our family (grandparents, parents, and kids) loved this house and it made our whole trip so comfortable. This is easily the most well appointed and well supplied rental we’ve ever stayed in. It truly feels like a house that is meant to be lived in, rather than one that has been furnished and stocked for short term rentals. The kitchen is beautiful and has everything you could need (even a knife sharpener!). The pool, hot tub, and pool deck were so comfortable and relaxing. And the outdoor nature shower….i never want to be without it. I cannot recommend this property more highly. "

"This is truly one of those places that is so much better than advertised. The photos do not do the views justice, and the outdoor seating area and pool were far beyond expectations. We all agreed, we have never spent so much time in a pool in our lives. But when you float in 80-degree weather while watching whales and spinner dolphins, it’s hard to leave. Bedrooms, living area & kitchen were as advertised but it was the small touches that made the stay excellent.The laundry room was equipped with everything you would need if you stayed a month. Each bathroom offered body wash, soaps and other goodies while the pool area was equipped with a basket of sun block & more. There were towels galore and the private back yard BBQ area was delightful. Plus, the grill is hooked to the main propane tank, so never worry about running out.The kitchen had dozens of spices, high quality knives and every utensil needed to create a gourmet dinner. Oh. and the pull-out refrigerator drawers were an incredibly pleasant surprise. The house is about 45 min. from the airport but after spending time in downtown Kona, it was quickly clear the drive is worth it. SO fewer people & the town of Waimea is only 10 miles away with grocery stores and an incredible farmers market that offered fresh produce, fresh fish and local artists. Again, it was by far the best VRBO stay we have ever experienced. Thanks to Sophie for answering the few questions we had quickly and pleasantly. We will be back!"
