"We stayed for 8 days here and I don’t think any amount of time would ever be enough.When we arrived and walked up on the lanai and felt the tropical breeze coming off the ocean, it was so calming and peaceful! Note that the place does not have A/C—- it does not need it with the cool breezes and the ceiling fans! Kalia was an excellent host and provided detailed directions prior to our stay on getting to the property. Even though she is an onsite host, we felt complete privacy during our stay. After spending most mornings at the beach (the place really IS close to all the best beaches- owner has provided a listing of them in the guidebook), we would come back for lunch on the lanai. Although we had planned on venturing back out for the afternoons and evening, often we just stayed there and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and view. Owner provided everything possibly needed during our stay… and the bed was extremely comfortable! We also LOVED the outdoor shower. Hoping someday we can return to this beautiful paradise!"

"This is truly one of those places that is so much better than advertised. The photos do not do the views justice, and the outdoor seating area and pool were far beyond expectations. We all agreed, we have never spent so much time in a pool in our lives. But when you float in 80-degree weather while watching whales and spinner dolphins, it’s hard to leave. Bedrooms, living area & kitchen were as advertised but it was the small touches that made the stay excellent.The laundry room was equipped with everything you would need if you stayed a month. Each bathroom offered body wash, soaps and other goodies while the pool area was equipped with a basket of sun block & more. There were towels galore and the private back yard BBQ area was delightful. Plus, the grill is hooked to the main propane tank, so never worry about running out.The kitchen had dozens of spices, high quality knives and every utensil needed to create a gourmet dinner. Oh. and the pull-out refrigerator drawers were an incredibly pleasant surprise. The house is about 45 min. from the airport but after spending time in downtown Kona, it was quickly clear the drive is worth it. SO fewer people & the town of Waimea is only 10 miles away with grocery stores and an incredible farmers market that offered fresh produce, fresh fish and local artists. Again, it was by far the best VRBO stay we have ever experienced. Thanks to Sophie for answering the few questions we had quickly and pleasantly. We will be back!"

"Beautiful view overlooking the ocean, and both mountains! Lovely sunsets. Stargazing at night without needing to leave the house was a bonus! Well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen. Beautiful outdoor space with lots of seating choices. Very responsive hosts. Beds were comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower! Be aware it is right on the main road, so there is some traffic noise, but it did not detract at all from our enjoyment of the home. The neighborhood itself is very quiet. Having an easy drive to the Kohala coast beaches, Waimea, and Hawi was so nice. "
