Nice place

Everything was great except for the cleanliness of the kitchen. The kitchen utensils were mostly dirty, including the pots, pans, and the cups in the cabinet. So we washed most of everything that we needed to cook before even using them.

Nice but not very clean

The scenery from our room was incredible. The bed's were ok a little hard but not that bad.The water heater wasnt working when we got there but I let the front office know and it was fixed immediately. The couch had a lot of stains on it. Bikini bottoms in a drawer and worst of all a bottle of open personal lubricant on bed side table. We received a parking pass but a car was parked in our spot. I called several people about it and everyone kept telling me that there was not much they could do that they left a citation on the car. But I was not given any other private parking place so we had to park in the visitors parking. Which is okay but if I'm going to pay what I paid for this place I'd like to have a parking spot. Overall this day was nice and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Spring Break trip

Accommodations were very nice! The pool with our tower was nice. But the building with indoor pool, large outdoor pool and restaurants was amazing ! All the options behind that building on the intercostal was awesome to have that to choose from! The beach was beautiful and a peaceful area ! So happy to have room to breathe and not in top of eather other on the beach!

Beautiful property

Very nice, well equipped condo with views of the gulf and the sound. There is a road between you and the beach but the view is still wonderful! Comfortable beds. You do have to pay over 200 for the week in amenity fees which was not made very clear with the listing but still a well priced condo for all the amenities.

Beautiful views and clean

Perfect for a girls getaway but there were some things that could be improved. Overall, it was a great place with beautiful views and very clean. Some issues we encountered: curtains in master bedroom were broken and could not be opened, master shower door appears about to break, hot water heater not big enough or not working well ( would run out of hot water after 1-2 people taking shower) no extra blankets available.

Better Than Expected!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Portofino. The pictures do not do the condo justice. The views alone were worth every penny. We stayed 5 days, 4 nights & had more than enough toiletries & amenities supplied. We would definitely stay here again.

The condo was just as advertised. Clean and well maintained. Resort pools, restaurants, bars, and spa were perfect for our Anniversary celebration.

Peaceful stay in lovely condo

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. The property was lovely and we were surprised at how peaceful it was even though fairly crowded. We would definitely stay at this location again. We had a couple of minor issues with the property that the management company immediately fixed. Dealing with them was very easy.

Overall very nice stay! Some Little issues taken care of pretty quickly. Sliders to patio from rms don't open but no big deal really. Main one from LR of course does. Beds nice 😊

Portofino Island Resort

Beautiful location. Staff very friendly. Dissatisfied with the smell of our condo. The minute we walked in there was a terrible musty, mold odor. We sprayed numerous things to try to the remove smell, but it lingered. There was mold on the ceiling. We reported the problem and was told that a property manager would come up to look at it- no one ever came up to investigate. The washing machine did not work and we were told it was going to be replaced, but it wasn’t.

The property was very clean. The condo could use a few minor fixes but wasn't enough to hinder our comfort. Very nice & comfortable condo. Loved all things!

This property is nicely decorated and the location is great. Beds were very comfortable. Had a few things that I had to contact property management about and they responded promptly. We were here for the Blue Angels Airshow. We were able to view from the beach in front of the resort. It’s away from the crowd but you still get a wonderful BA experience.

We love the Portofino!

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. We've stayed at the Portofino many times in the past and this was another enjoyable stay. The only recommendation I would have is to provide more cooking pans. We only found pots and would have loved one or two skillet type pans. Anyway, the views were incredible and the beds were comfortable. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Review

The property was great, but I had a few issues with the Unit. First, the hot water heater was not functioning properly. Second, quite a few of the outlets were not working. Third, the ice maker only made a few cubes of ice. Also, the master bedroom was hot, so it must be an ongoing problem because there was a fan in the closet.
