This is my go-to hotel when I want to stay in the Quarter. The rooms are all unique, and I absolutely love the courtyard in the middle of the property. It's also just far enough away from Bourbon Street, though only a few blocks, to be quiet and relaxing.

This property is in a perfect location! It was easy to safely get to plenty of shops, restaurants & attractions in the area. The court yard was gorgeous. Only a few things kept this stay from being perfect- our AC in an interior/no window room just could not keep up, so it needs servicing. We kept it on 67 (the lowest it would go), and the temp ranged from 72-76. FYI, there is a skylight in the interior room- nice, but not if you try to relax or nap during the day, because the room was SO bright even with no other windows. We could also hear the elevator running every time- not loud, but definitely noticeable and obnoxious at times, even with a sound machine on, so make sure you bring something to drown out those noises. I mistakenly thought the interior room would be dark & quiet, but that just wasn't always the case. Staff was polite & smiling. Others staying at the hotel smoked MJ a lot in the court yard, and I am not a fan of the smell at all, so that was also annoying. The room was clean, the bed was firmer than I prefer but pillows soft and we slept decently for our 3 nights there. The interior room was private right off a stairwell, so didn't hear people coming and going. We didn't test out the pool, but it was small and in their courtyard, so a really pretty scene with vending in the pool room. Overall, very pleased with our stay and the location for the price. Easy access to PJ's coffee next door- necessary because our Keurig was not working.Def recommend this hotel!

Seriously, I never post things like this but this was one of the most enjoyable hotel stays I've ever had. The place is LITERALLY steps away from every attraction and area of interest, didn’t uber once, except to and from airport. The room and inner courtyard were both gorgeous, the staff treated me like an old friend, and it somehow managed to be peaceful and safe just steps from all the Bourbon craziness. What a fantastic place.

Quiet French Quarter Gem with Exceptional Service

Perfect location—right in the French Quarter but peaceful and quiet. Comfortable room with coffee maker, fridge, and a lovely courtyard with pool. Staff went above and beyond when I left my sunglasses at the pool—Deidre and Elisha made sure they were found and kept safe until my son could pick them up. Outstanding service! I’ll definitely stay here again.

I had an amazing stay at the French Market Inn. The location was convenient and everything was within walking distance. The property was clean, safe, and quiet. The rooms and the property were beautiful and I would totally stay again! The pool was a great plus as well. One of my favorite things about the hotel was how kind all of the staff were, especially the bellhop! He wished us a great day each time he saw us. I felt at home and so welcome during my stay. The only downside was the height of the shower; it was hard to reach as a shorter person, but I made do!

This was my 2nd time staying in the French Quarter. I knew we would be walking and ubering a lot. This property was budget friendly and conveniently located to many attractions, including Jackson Square, Bourbon St, and Cafe du Monde. The uber was able to pull right up to the hotel and was available very quickly each time. The room around the bed was spacious, closet space minimal, the A/C worked great, the bathroom had a new, nice walk-in shower and fixture. The hotel staff were nice. They held our luggage for an hour after checkout while we ate. My only complaint would be is that I paid for an upgraded window room and my window looked out to the stairwell where all patrons walked out to the courtyard. Therefore I had to keep my curtains drawn the whole time. I made awkward eye contact with a gentleman directly in front of my window the first time I opened them. I would stay there again. I just wouldn’t pay for the window upgrade.

Loved the courtyard, the Inn is convenient to everything in the French Quarter, just a couple of blocks from Jackson Square and Cafe du Monde. Room was modernized, clean and well accommodated. Great stay, will definitely stay here next time I'm in NOLA.
